Brake type comes first
These wheelsets are for rim brake road bikes. A disc brake frame needs a different hub and rim system, so do not buy a rim brake wheelset for a disc brake bike.
Look at the brake calipers and brake track on your current wheels. If pads press directly onto the rim, you are in the rim brake category.
Clearance is more than tire width
A wider tire, deeper rim, or different rim profile can affect caliper and frame clearance. Check the fork crown, brake bridge, chainstays, seatstays, and caliper opening.
Leave practical room for wheel movement, tire variation, and small debris. A tire that barely fits in the stand may rub on the road.
Freehub and cassette decide installation
The freehub body must match the cassette you plan to use. If you are unsure, send photos of the cassette and drivetrain before checkout.
A correct rim diameter does not fix a wrong freehub. This is one of the easiest mistakes to avoid with a quick pre-order check.
